Helping in the transition from a print to a digital service based offering

Pearson publishers are undertaking a dramatic transformation from printed products to a service based product offering.

Arnie has been glad to help aid Pearsons Oxfordshire web design department by creating user interfaces, building themed templates for content managed systems and developing html and graphical components. We have also guided the department in best practice for responsive web design and provided training on core web concepts.

Arnie is delighted to have been part of several high level government initiatives through Pearsons including: WorkSkills, Higher Apprenticeships, Skilled for Life and Think Future. Our involvement has provided engaging web design for their portals that provide eLearning to bright young minds.

We've also been involved in the interface re-design of the backend system that runs the administration of BTEC courses. Known as myBTEC the system delivers large data sets of information that need to be displayed in a useable way.

The challenge was to create a system that was logical and did not swamp the user with content. Working from wireframe designs we developed the graphical user interfaces for 20 diverse screens.
